Elon Musk Biography: Shaping All Our Futures

"Elon Musk: Tesla SpaceX and the quest for a Fantastic Future" by Ashlee Vance This biography is absolutely inspiring and amazing in every single way. Elon Musk is nothing less than amazing he's a business owner, an entrepreneur, an engineer, a visionary, a father, and a multi-billionaire. Elon was born in South Africa and is now the owner and operator of both SpaceX and Tesla Motors. Elon's will, vision, intellect, and work ethic are huge contributors to his overall success. What Elon is doing is something to take notice of and something to admire. He truly is building a better future for the greater good of humanity.

When Elon was just 12 years old he developed his own video game and he sold it for five hundred dollars. In his early twenties, he developed a company website service that was an early concept similar to Yelp and Google Maps. That company was called "Zip2" Compaq bought Zip2 for about 300 million dollars! Out of that Elon earned 22 million dollars and became a millionaire at the age of 28. With most of his earnings, he went on to his next project or business venture. Elon then started his next company which was called Today is the world-famous online banking service known as PayPal. Elon Musk's sold PayPal to eBay for 1.5 billion dollars. Out of that, he made over 150 million dollars from that deal. Elon could have retired and disappeared from the tech world but his mission was to create a better world far more important than to ever consider retiring from.

In fact when Elon Musk was in college as an undergraduate one of the questions that he wanted to ask himself what is going to be the most important thing that is going to affect the future of humanity? So once Elon sold PayPal he took all of his earnings and he started a space venture company known as SpaceX. Elon invested about a hundred million dollars of his earnings to fund SpaceX. This was by far his riskiest business decision yet. What is so admirable about Elon is that it did not matter how much risk was involved he was going to do it anyway. In fact, Elon is known for saying that even if the probability is a failure, if what you're doing is important enough, you should try and do it anyways. Elon has an inner inclination to make the world a better place and part of the idea of making it a better place is to colonize space and become multi-planetary.

After the sale of PayPal Elon also invested in a start-up electric car company which he now runs known as Tesla Motors. Elon is the operator leader and the driving force behind these two great companies. Tesla and SpaceX both have been in crucial situations where they came very close to failure. Elon seems to have a tendency of staying focus, blocking out negativity towards his businesses, completing his task at hand, and coming out on top no matter what type of adversity he faces. The opinion of haters, doubters, and negative nancies do not matter at all to Elon. What he is doing is too important and that is worth taking the risk. Elon Musk is definitely someone to admire, I highly recommend this book for anyone who is in pursuit of his or her own very own personal legend.

This book helps people believe that whatever dream they want to pursue is extremely possible and also probable. Whatever you want to do go and do it, go after your dreams like Elon. Pursue your passion with determination, intellect, a strong will, a great work ethic, and a desire to make your life and the lives around you better. One thing that attributes the Elons overall success is his vision, and his overall perspective as to how important what he's doing is. If you feel that what you're pursuing on your own is so important that it has to be done, you will have the energy and motivation to do it. thank you so much for checking out this video I highly recommend that you get the book yourself.

In the biography, they go into extensive details with a lot of different examples as to how Elon overcame all of the different types of adversity. One of them being when he was in Russia trying to buy Rockets when he was first starting SpaceX he felt like he was overpriced so he pulled out a spreadsheet on his computer and did all the math as to what it would cost for him to build it himself and found a cheaper way to do it. That is just one of so many other examples that you could find in the book.
